Other offerings include a free mode where players will be able to set up customizable battles to their liking, an online mode that will allow for players to battle it out for pirate supremacy, and a challenge mode. The challenge mode, officially called WANTED Versus mode, will task players with fulfilling certain objectives during battles in order to collect bounties.

This announcement comes shortly after Bandai Namco revealed additional playable characters. These included fan favorites such as Nico Robin, Edward Newgate (also known as Whitebeard), Marco, Jozu, Jimbei, Nami, Perona, and Boa Hancock. One Piece: Burning Blood will also feature 60 different support characters that will be able to impact battles by using their special abilities. These support characters will cast different effects on characters, such as increasing their attacks or healing the player.

You can check out all of these modes and characters in the new “Battle For Marineford” trailer, which can be watched above. This four-minute overview goes over the ins and outs of each mode so that you’ll know what you’re getting into when the game releases this spring. If you really like what you see, you’ll want to pre-order the game, as you’ll get three characters as a bonus, those being Fourth Gear Luffy, Kung Fu Luffy, and Afro Luffy.

One Piece: Burning Blood releases on May 31 in North America, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. A PC release will also follow shortly afterwards in June.
