According to the press release, it appears they just barely beat out Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburgh Penguins and John Tavares of the New York Islanders for the final two spots.
The winner will be revealed at the 2012 NHL Awards after the conclusion of the Stanley Cup Finals which are set to start tomorrow, Wednesday May 30th at 8 pm EST on NBC.
Beginning today until June 4th, 11:59 EST, fans can vote an unlimited number of times at http://www.nhl.com/covervote to decide who will grace the cover of NHL 13 when it hits stores this fall as the new season gets underway.
