Nier 2 Announced For PS4 By Square Enix

Without giving away too much information - yes that can be a thing - Square Enix used a segment of their E3 2015 conference to reveal that they have been developing a new Nier game for the Playstation 4. Working with Platinum Games, the title is being referred to as Nier 2, suggesting it will be a sequel of sorts.

Without giving away too much information – yes that can be a thing – Square Enix used a segment of their E3 2015 conference to reveal that they have been developing a new Nier game for the Playstation 4. Working with Platinum Games, the title is being referred to as Nier 2, suggesting it will be a sequel of sorts.

The announcement was accompanied by a short trailer, most of which was made up of panning shots across some gorgeous hand-drawn settings. Before the end, however, a brief animated segment brought the proceedings to a close. After the footage was previewed it was revealed that the subtitle – shown blurred out at the end of the trailer – is still a secret and is likely to be announced in Fall 2015.
