Nikola Tesla Joins The Action In The Latest Trailer For The Order: 1886

I believe there is an unwritten law out there that states that if your story features any sort of steampunk element, Nikola Tesla must appear. Ready At Dawn's upcoming shooter The Order: 1886 is the latest piece of entertainment to enforce that rule, as the Serbian American inventor will be showing up to lend assistance.

I believe there is an unwritten law out there that states that if your story features any sort of steampunk element, Nikola Tesla must appear. Ready At Dawn’s upcoming shooter The Order: 1886 is the latest piece of entertainment to enforce that rule, as the Serbian American inventor will be showing up to lend assistance.

In the Gamescom trailer released earlier today, we see Tesla crafting some of the unique weapons The Order will use to beat off the Half-Breed menace. However, despite the fact that the Half-Breeds seem like they would love to destroy humanity, Tesla seems conflicted about providing assistance to The Order.

Besides the presence of Tesla, the trailer also debuts some gorgeous new gameplay footage from The Order: 1886. While titles like inFamous: Second Son and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare are putting out spectacular graphics, Ready At Dawn’s shooter may be the most impressive looking title of the new console generation so far.

The Order: 1886 is set to launch exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on February 20th, 2015. Until then, check out the new trailer below to tide you over.
