As of today, the free-to-play edition of PES 2016 is available for download on PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles. This basic version of the game allows you to play the Exhibition Mode with a choice of seven teams, the full training section mode and the myClub feature.
Furthermore, it’s also due to be compatible with all future gameplay and content updates throughout the entire PES 2016 season, which will include automatic updates to ensure teams are kept right up-to-date. Konami explained the significance of this mode as follows:
This version will allow new users to experience PES 2016’s online and offline play, as well as unlimited access to the myClub mode wherein players use accrued in-game currency and micro-transactions to build a title-winning team.
The developer have also unveiled five excellent players who will soon be available for their MyClub rosters. Roberto Baggio, Filippo Inzaghi, Oliver Kahn, Roberto Carlos, and Luis Figo are the men set to be up for grabs as you assemble your squad from players around the world for one week starting on December 17th. These legends will also be available for those playing the free-to-play version of PES 2016, meaning absolutely anyone could get their hands on them.
