Both of those titles account for the PlayStation 4 titles bound for the Instant Game Collection on Tuesday, October 4; as revealed by PlayStation Blog, the full October lineup also comprises Mad Riders and From Dust for PlayStation 3, while Vita owners can look forward to the arrival of both Code: Realize and Actual Sunlight, the short, interactive adventure game from developer Will O’Neill.

All of the titles listed below will join the Instant Game Collection on Tuesday, October 4.

Resident Evil, PS4
Transformers: Devastation, PS4
Mad Riders, PS3
From Dust, PS3
Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~, PS Vita
Actual Sunlight, PS Vita

It’s a fairly diverse selection but for many, Resident Evil will take the biscuit. Not only is Capcom’s horror flagship celebrating its 20th anniversary, but the addition of RE remastered for PlayStation 4 injects a little Halloween spirit into the Instant Game Collection. If nerve-shredding thrills and spills aren’t your cup of tea, Transformers: Devastation is arguably one of the better licensed games to hail from developer Platinum Games in recent years, after the middling disappointments of both Mutants in Manhattan and The Legend of Korra.

How and ever, if you’ve yet to download last month’s offerings, there’s still time. Before Sony ushers in those aforementioned newcomers on Tuesday, October 4, be sure to add the likes of Journey and Lords of the Fallen to your download queue. Assuming you hold an active PlayStation Plus membership, of course.
