The much anticipated demo for Red Faction: Armageddon is now available for download on XBOX Live Arcade. Those who've been looking forward to it will be happy to know that the demo features the game's most popular new addition - the magnet gun. In addition to the use of this interesting magnetized weapon, you can use the in-game mechanics to reassemble demolished buildings and walkways or take out enemies by creating powerful wormholes. Of course, you can also blow up everything in sight in true Red Faction style.

The demo finishes by showing a note stating that the full game will be available for purchase on May 31st. This is incorrect as it was actually pushed back (by publisher THQ,) to a June 7th release date.
