Good news was announced today for everyone who is patiently waiting for Red Faction: Armageddon to release on May 31st. A press release from the game’s developer THQ stated that a demo drop on consoles May 3rd. The game takes place half a century after the previous game where you play as the grandson of former protagonist Alec Mason.
Mars is still the planet of choice but this time the fight will take place underground since the surface became too uninhabitable. Destructibility remains the focus of the game but this time there are new ways to cause chaos, by using awesome new toys like the Magnet Gun, which is pretty self explanatory. Wait until you see it in motion, innovation at its best.
Hopefully the Playstation Network will be up and running for next week or else only 360 owners will be getting a taste of destruction done at its best.
