*Update* It looks like at least three of the pictures are fakes, however the Monster Hunter 3 listing appears to be real and the Play.com listing is live. Still, take it with a grain of salt.

UK retailer Play.com listed four unannounced PlayStation Vita titles on their website yesterday (Monster Hunter 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, and Tales of Innocence R) indicating that these may be the Vita titles that Sony was planning to reveal this Friday.

All the listings were quickly pulled down after being put up, but not before they were captured by a screenshot and posted on the GTAForums. All the listings appears to be much more than simple placeholders and the fact that they were quickly removed seems to point towards them being the real deal. However, retailer listings have been wrong in the past, so it’s best to consider this a rumor for now.

Assuming the listing is correct, this would be huge news for Sony‘s struggling Vita sales in Japan. Monster Hunter is big business on Sony‘s home turf and having the franchise make its way to the Vita would help the system get a foothold in the race with Nintendo‘s 3DS.
