Road to Boruto, a downloadable expansion for Bandai Namco’s Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, is due to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on February 3, 2017, the publisher has announced.

Pairing together the lightning-paced combat of the base game with anime-quality graphics, Road to Boruto will follow the adventures of the titular character as he continues the adventures that his father – Naruto – once embarked on many years before him. Adapting the events of Boruto: Naruto the Movie into video game form, several other new characters including Sarada Uchiha will make an appearance, both of which will be playable outside of the story addition in the beat ’em up’s Free Battle Mode.

Along with new fighters comes new locations to explore, too. The series’ iconic Hidden Leaf Village will have new areas added to its free exploration mode, so expect to see new quest NPCs and items to collect.

Want to know more? Well, Namco says more details for the DLC will be revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, which is due to kick-off later this week.

If you already own Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, you’ll be able to download the add-on directly from your chosen platform’s online store for $19.99. For everyone else, the base game will see a re-release on February 3 that also contains the expansion.
