Hot on the heels of yesterday’s pre-emptive leak, it appears as if Call of Duty 2016 – rumored to be titled Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare – has been pegged for release on November 4.

What’s the source, you ask? An image was posted online by a Reddit user (via VideoGamer) of what appears to be a pre-order card from US retailer Target featuring the shooter’s cover art and release date. You can see the image in question below.

Looks pretty legit, right? Of course, there’s always the very real chance that the whole thing is just an elaborate hoax, but we already know that Activision are planning to officially announce this year’s Call Of Duty in the near future, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that such pre-order materials have already been sent out to retailers.

By far the most exciting prospect of this being accurate though, is that familiar-looking logo above the cover art that reads Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. A current-gen update of the original Modern Warfare, complete with online multiplayer support and functionality could prove to be greatest thing to happen since the invention of sliced bread.

Stay tuned for an official word or reveal from Activision, and in the meantime, be sure to leave your comments down below.
