Microsoft has announced that their upcoming Xbox One launch title, Ryse: Son of Rome, will have a Season Pass. For $20 you’ll be able to grab all four expansions that are set to release with the game. Though they haven’t been detailed just yet, apparently what you’ll get is new equipment, a new game mode, a few extra skins, additional multiplayer maps and more.

While you can certainly purchase the expansions individually, buying the Season Pass will give you an exclusive sword and shield. I know, it’s not exactly the best bonus in the world but if you intend on picking up all of the expansions anyways, you might as well just grab the Season Pass.

Personally, I’m looking forward to Ryse: Son of Rome. The action-adventure title is being developed by Crytek and will put players in the shoes of a Roman general named Marius Titus, who embarks on “an epic tale of revenge spanning an entire lifetime.”

Everything we’ve seen from the game thus far looks pretty impressive and with Crytek doing the development, I can’t see it turning out poorly. It’s actually one of the launch titles that I’m most excited for. I was sold after seeing its reveal at E3 this past year and ever since I’ve been following it closely. You can bet that I’ll be picking it up on day one.

Tell us, will you be buying Ryse: Son of Rome and if so, will you be purchasing a Season Pass?
