If you happen to have a PS4 and be both a Samurai Warriors and anime nut, then Koei Tecmo is planning to deliver Christmas early just for you. In honor of the franchise’s tenth year, Samurai Warriors 4 will be getting the ol’ collector’s edition treatment exclusively for Sony’s fourth black box.
This packaging of the game will come with a retail copy, an official soundtrack CD, and a Blu-ray of the Samurai Warriors: Legend of the Sanada anime. Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper collector’s edition without some virtual goodies. The DLC bundled in here includes an Edit Parts pack that allows Western-themed armor and facial customization, as well as two costume packs.
You can get all of this content for just $74.99, and pre-ordering the game through Gamestop grants you access to Scenario Pack 1, which has two new stages and items. Conversely, pre-ordering from Best Buy or Amazon will provide you with a weapons pack for more than 25 characters.
Samurai Warriors 4: Special Anime Pack is a nifty set for those enthused about the franchise, and considering all that comes with it, its $74.99 price tag isn’t outrageous and is actually quite the value. You can pick up this special, PS4-only version of the game on October 24th.
