It was rumoured that it would be included in Marvel vs Capcom 3 and finally it’s been confirmed, Sentinel will return to the series. Rocket punches all round!
The glorious purple leviathan is pretty much iconic with the series so its return may not be the biggest shock but it’s enough to warm the nostalgic cockles of my heart. As fans will have noticed most of his moves and attacks seem to be pretty much the same as in MvsC2 but with it being such as useful addition to your three character team in the past I don’t think there will be too many complaints. Well maybe a few. That’s not all though, alongside the mutant hunter comes Hsien-Ko of Darkstalkers fame.
The two new additions bring the roster up to the 36 character mark (by my count) out of the box, with Jill and series favourite Shuma-Gorath available as DLC four weeks after the games release for special edition owners. Marvel vs Capcom 3 is one of my most anticipated releases of the year and will hit shelves in North America on February 15th and the 18th in Europe.
