XCOM 2‘s newest batch of DLC – Shen’s Last Gift – is available now on PC, Firaxis and 2K have announced. The latest add-on puts engineer Lily Shen in the starring role as she infiltrates a secretive ADVENT facility to recover some advanced technology created by her father. As it turns out, said tech is a prototype for a combat-ready robot that will be instrumental in turning the tide against the alien threat and helping mankind in “the battle to reclaim Earth.”
The blurb on the official XCOM website reads:
XCOM has uncovered intel on a hidden ADVENT facility housing new high-tech weaponry. Lily Shen, Chief Engineer on the Avenger, has volunteered to accompany your most elite squad as they infiltrate this facility, so that she may help uncover and assess what impact this new alien tech will have in the battle to reclaim Earth,” explains the DLC’s blurb.

Part of XCOM 2‘s Reinforcement DLC pack, Firaxis advises you do not purchase Shen’s Last Gift separately ($10) if you already own the former, as you’ll be charged for it.
XCOM 2 launches for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this September.
