Dishonored 600x3001 Become A Skilled Assassin With This Interactive Dishonored Video

In Dishonored, players will take on the role of a supernaturally gifted assassin who must attempt to prove his innocence after being framed for murder. Objectives can be achieved in different ways, which is a huge part of the game’s appeal, as it allows the user to choose how he or she would prefer to play. That way those who’d like to go in weapons first can do so, while the stealth lovers amongst us can choose to lurk in the shadows while waiting for assassination opportunities.

As you may know, we’re only several days away from the game’s October 9th launch date. For that reason, it’s no surprise that Bethesda has released yet another promotional video for the much-anticipated title, with this one being an interactive offering. The choose your own adventure style is definitely appreciated, because it will let interested parties play through a mission through the click of a mouse, letting them select from different play styles in order to see what will happen.

Make sure to check back next week for our detailed review of Dishonored. In the meantime, take a peek at the video below and let us know what you think.

That was awesome! More games should do this. As awesome as
Dishonored looks, and as much as I want it to be great, I can’t help but be skeptical.
After being so psyched for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, pre-ordering it, and
ending up being disappointed, I started following the advice of one of my
coworkers at DISH and I’ve sworn off buying any games until I’ve rented them
first. It’s saved me from buying a
number of games, and saved me a good deal of money. Dishonored is already in my
Blockbuster @Home queue so I’ll get to play it soon; it won’t be on release
day, but that’s okay, I’m still pretty busy with Borderlands 2 anyway. I’m
truly hoping though, that Dishonored will live up to all the hype.

I have not played it, but I’ve heard good things.

Yeah I’ve been reading watching some reviews now. Most of the reviewers say it’s great. I don’t really trust IGN or the other big game reviewers anymore; it just seems like they become very biased about heavily advertised games (maybe because of advertising $$ they get out of it?).

Machinima gave it an 8/10 though, stating that it was an awesome game with some glaring flaws. I’ll be interested to see what Yahtzee says about it once he gets around to reviewing it.

Well you can trust us, we are all completely broke. ;)

LOL the first time I replied to you I didn’t realize you were a mod here. *waves hand like a Jedi* “Forget I said anything about other reviewers, I only read reviews at We Got This Covered.”

LOL. Not a mod, just one of the lowly game news writers.
