Square Enix has revealed its lineup for this years Tokyo Game Show which takes place from September 20-23. One of the stars of the lineup include the first ever showcase of the MMORPG, Dragon Quest X, for the Wii U.

Dragon Quest X was already released for the Wii last month in Japan meaning this showcase would presumably highlight how the Wii U version would differ and how it would affect cross-platform play.

Other highlights on the lineup include Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, a relaunch and overhaul of the original Final Fantasy XIV which was universally panned by critics upon its initial release.

Speaking of, once again there is no mention of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, a game that was rumored to be no longer in development; that rumor of course was denied by Square Enix.

Also not on the list is Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, the final chapter to Lightning’s story and a questionable absence seeing as how this game was revealed only a couple days ago.

Finally, Sleeping Dogs, Hitman: Absolution, and The World Ends with You: Solo Remix round out the notable games on this years Tokyo Game Show lineup for Square Enix.
