So we already know what new vistas we’ll be visiting with the DLC, but what about all the other stuff? Considering the premium price of the content, many are expecting some much-needed additions to all aspects of the game. Don’t worry, it looks like DICE has you covered.

Two new weapons and three new Star Cards will be made available alongside the maps. They are as follows:

  • Relby V-10 rifle
  • DT-12 blaster pistol
  • Scatter Gun (Star Card)
  • Dioxis Grenade (Star Card)
  • Adrenaline Stim (Star Card)

Outer Rim is just the first of four DLC packs due to release over the rest of 2016 and into 2017 for Star Wars Battlefront. The Bespin pack is due in summer 2016 with maps set on the Death Star in the fall. The fourth – currently untitled – pack is due in early 2017. You can check out the gameplay trailer above, which features the reveal of new villain Greedo as he faces-off against a bunch of Rebel scum.
