Street Fighter V‘s third beta period begins on December 18, according to the game’s director, Yoshinori Ono. Capcom had previously stated that the beta would start on December 17 and run until Sunday, but the former date seems more likely, considering both previous betas have begun on a Friday.

Capcom have yet to announce which characters will be present and playable this time around, but there’s been several new announcements since the second beta concluded. Zangief, Laura, Dhalsim and F.A.N.G. have all been revealed over the last two months, and have yet to be made playable in any form for the public.

The most recent reveal happened just two days ago at Sony’s PlayStation Experience: F.A.N.G. (pictured above) fills the last empty slot of Street Fighter V‘s base roster, bringing the total to 16 brawlers.

The full roster is as follows:

  • Ryu
  • Ken
  • Zangief
  • Dhalsim
  • F.A.N.G.
  • Karin
  • Chun-Li
  • Birdie
  • Cammy
  • Laura
  • Necalli
  • R. Mika
  • Rashid
  • Vega
  • M. Bison

Capcom also confirmed that Alex, Juri, Balrog, Ibuki, Urien and Guile will make up the first wave of DLC characters due to be released over the course of next year.

Street Fighter V is currently scheduled to be released in March 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC. Unfortunately, it won’t be releasing for Xbox One.
