This morning, Ubisoft released a brand new gameplay video for South Park: The Stick of Truth. Entitled The New Kid, this thirteen minute-long preview of the opening portion of the campaign provides an incredibly enticing look at one of the most interesting games in the soon-to-be-released pipeline.

Developed by Obsidian, The Stick of Truth is an incredibly colourful and surely hilarious take on role-playing within the South Park universe. Its provided synopsis summarizes it best, though.

Written and voiced by South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, South Park: The Stick of Truth is the definitive South Park experience. Arm yourself with weapons of legend to defeat underpants gnomes, hippies and other forces of evil.  Discover the lost Stick of Truth and earn your place at the side of Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny as their new friend. Succeed and you shall be South Park’s savior, cementing your social status in South Park Elementary. Fail, and you will forever be known as… a douchebag.

South Park: The Stick of Truth will be released on March 4.
