Fatshark’s CEO Mark Wahlund spoke of the company’s pleasure at how the game had launched, as well as discussing the ongoing commitment they have made to keeping it fresh and adding further updates.

After the successful launch, we’ve barely had time to celebrate as we’ve been 100% focused on fixing bugs and creating new content to further expand Vermintide. Sigmar’s Blessing is just the beginning and we are looking forward, to continually add new modes and features into 2016 and beyond.

The new features include the interactive Shrine Of Solace, forty new unlockable weapons and five new weapon traits which can be applied to both Exotic and Veteran tiered weapons. The pack will also grant players the use of five new hero trinkets, increasing the chance of loot for the corresponding hero and allowing every player to salvage trinkets, hats and exotic loot.

Sigmar’s Blessing is available free as of today, giving you plenty of reason to dive back in to your Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide campaign before 2016.
