RPG powerhouse developer Idea Factory International has announced that their latest project, Trillion: God of Destruction, will come to North America on March 29. The PlayStation Vita-exclusive title, which will also be coming to Europe in April, previously released in Japan back in July 2015.

Following in the footsteps of past projects such as Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and Mugen Souls Z, Trillion features another unique story from Idea Factory International. Taking place in the decades after an epic war between Heaven and Hell, the Underworld is thrown into chaos by the emergence of Trillion, a demon god of destruction. Seeking to consume the world, Trillion can only be stopped by Zeabolos, the Great Overlord. In order to accomplish this task, however, he must recruit the best fighter between six different Overlord candidates in order to assist him.

Of course, taking down Trillion won’t be as simple as taking down your run of the mill demon. Besides being named after the number, the powerful demon has an absolutely crazy 1,000,000,000,000 HP. It will take an equal amount of strategy, which comes from proper recruitment, and training, which can be handled from either locating hidden treasure chests or strengthening your weapons. And with over 10 endings to discover, there is plenty of incentive for gamers to work on their strategies in both original and New Game+ mode.

Despite the sometimes shaky reputation they have, I’ve enjoyed my time with the few Idea Factory International titles I’ve found the time to play. They are perfectly competent RPGs with crazy storylines, and Trillion appears to be no different than usual. Of course, since the game is only available on the PlayStation Vita, I’m not sure when I’ll be able to attempt to take down the almighty demon, but I’m certainly looking forward to it.
