Ubisoft Details For Honor Season Pass, Medieval Title Will Also Receive Free Post-Launch DLC

Ahead of the game's launch on February 14th, Ubisoft has today detailed the content included in the For Honor Season Pass.

With little under a fortnight to go until release, Ubisoft has today unveiled the content included in the For Honor Season Pass, all the while confirming that, yes, the medieval title will receive a steady stream of free post-launch DLC.

Per Ubi’s blog post, the premium package grants access to six new heroes – along with a seven-day period of early access to said champions – six elite outfits, an exclusive sunbeam effect on emotes for all heroes, three exclusive emblem outlines, three scavenger crates to unlock additional gear and finally, a 30-Day Champion Status. The latter is essentially a perk that imbues players and their friends with an XP boost, ensuring you and your squad reap additional experience from crafting, as well as bonus loot at the end of matches. No word on pricing just yet, but expect the Season Pass to fall in the $30-$40 ballpark.

Barring the six heroes and their respective outfits, all Season Pass content will be available from February 14th, with Ubisoft adding:

“The new Heroes will be progressively released by batches of two at the beginning of a new Season of the Faction War – the persistent cross-platform metagame that will evolve the war across the world of For Honor.”

Those of you who don’t wish to partake in the For Honor Season Pass will be pleased to note that each and every hero can be unlocked using Steel, For Honor’s in-game currency. Furthermore, Ubisoft’s status report went on to detail some of the post-launch content coming free of charge.

“Additional free content will also be released across three Seasons following launch. This post-launch content, including new maps, modes, and gear, will be available for free to all players. Season Pass holders will receive early access to some elements of this post-launch content.”

Cancel those Valentine’s Day plans; For Honor will unleash medieval chaos across PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 14th. An Open Beta will take place over the weekend of February 9th, lending players one final chance to delve into Ubisoft’s bold new IP before launch.
