Nathan Drake made an appearance at today’s PlayStation Experience, as we all expected, but he didn’t get into any bullet-based action in the process. Instead, Uncharted 4 appeared in cutscene form only, showing what is perhaps the game’s opening segment, where a married Nate receives a visit from his older brother, Sam, who he hasn’t seen in quite some time.
The trailer is beautiful and really shows off the PlayStation 4’s power, while introducing a dialogue system that allows players to select responses from a set list. Additionally, its realistic-looking scenes also introduce us to the fact that Sam is in trouble, a fact that will likely pave the way for the game’s adventurous campaign.
Uncharted 4 isn’t too far away from release, having been given a launch date of March 18th, 2016, so stay tuned for more information as we get closer to that day.
