Marcus and Dom apparently won’t be factoring into the upcoming Gears of War 3 campaign DLC. Instead, it’ll focus on other (non-core) members of the COG team, such as Barrick. So, that means that it won’t be focusing on the graphic novels either.
Based on a tweet by Rod Fergusson at Epic Games, we’re aware that Aisha Tyler will be playing somebody. Who that female character will be is currently unknown however. Other than that, the only other information known is what designer Cliff Bleszinski mentioned while posting in a NeoGAF message board thread:
“No, it won’t be the graphic novel, but it will have all new campaign content that doesn’t have Marcus, Dom, Cole and Baird in it,” Bleszinski wrote. “Expect Barrick and more…”
Interesting stuff. I’m curious to find out exactly where the events of the DLC will take place within the series’ timeframe and world.
