According to listings spotted on GameStop, The Walking Dead, Telltale’s adventure game adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s hit comic series, may be coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Originally released back in November for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows PC, PlayStation Vita, MAC and yes, even the Ouya, The Walking Dead: Game Of The Year Edition contains all five Season One episodes, as well as the 400 Days chapter that bridged the gap between the first two seasons. Telltale’s episodic adventure series has achieved critical acclaim across the board and, unlike some releases (*coughcough*), is more than deserving of a Game Of The Year edition.

While it is not surprising that The Walking Dead could be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, considering it’s already available for pretty much every non-Nintendo console, I am a little surprised that Telltale wouldn’t just wait until Season Two finishes up (presumably) later this year and release everything together. Of course, this may just mean that the company is gearing up to digitally release those chapters, but we will have to wait and see.

If these listings hold true, expect The Walking Dead: Game Of The Year Edition for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to be available starting June 17th and carry a cost of $29.99.
