Next week’s Rock Band 3 track update will include one of its strangest genre combinations, thus far. Instead of releasing a themed track pack, the folks at Harmonix have decided to go the eclectic route.

Fans of nu-metal can look forward to content from its pioneers, and one of my favourite bands: koRn. Two of their well-liked singles will be made available for use in the band simulation game. The most notable one would definitely be Freak on a Leash. It will be joined by Falling Away From Me.

Strangely enough, the Bakersfield headbangers will be flanked by two songs from The Edgar Winter Group. They will be showcased through Free Ride and Frankenstein – two songs that have definitely stood the test of time. Thankfully, both will include keyboard support.
