Nintendo has yet again redesigned their latest handheld gaming console, revising the original 3DS system as the new Nintendo 3DS XL. It’s got bigger screens and redesigned physical features, but is it an improvement worth investing in? Longtime Nintendo fans Jonathan and Sean give you every detail you need to know, along with a brief review of New Super Mario Bros. 2, the new Mario title releasing alongside the XL.

Other random thoughts – on Denver’s ongoing Studio Ghibli festival, video games, Doctor Who, and more – round out the episode, our last calm before the storm that shall arrive over the next few weeks as TV, film, and gaming all heat up once more!
