Two short days after the release of three initial screenshots, Telltale has confirmed plans to launch the fourth and penultimate episode of The Wolf Among Us next week, and in keeping with tradition, has also put a promotional teaser trailer online.
Titled In Sheep’s Clothing, Bigby Wolf’s latest adventure will begin its release rollout next Tuesday, May 27, on both the North American PlayStation Network for PS3 as well as various digital distribution services on PC. May 28 will bring with it the Xbox 360 version, and May 29 will mark the day the iOS version becomes available as an in-app purchase. A European PS3 release date is still forthcoming.
The trailer doesn’t show anything notable as far as big reveals go, which is the right thing to do, considering some of the twists this game has already thrown at us as it’s progressed. What we do get here, however, is a hint that main protagonist Bigby is being pushed to his limit physically after the last episode’s violent conclusion, as well as a glimpse at a mysterious glowing door that he’s approaching. Bigby may finally be close to getting some answers as the series prepares to wrap itself up, and it will be interesting to see what he encounters.
