World Of Tanks Officially Rolls On To PlayStation 4 Starting January 19

World Of Tanks has been out for several years now across PC, Xbox 360 and, most recently, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4 is just the latest platform to join the club. Regardless of which console you decide to play it on though, Wargaming's tank sim is entirely free-to-play, with various bonuses awarded to those that choose to drop some cash on a premium currency.

Tank warfare MMO World Of Tanks officially releases for PlayStation 4 on January 19. It’s certainly been a long time coming too; the game has spent several months in beta for Sony’s console, but it looks like Wargaming is finally ready to push the game out the door in its final version.

Celebrating the announcement on the official website, Wargaming also have more than a few surprises and perks to gift those who choose to indulge in mass vehicular destruction on the PS4.

Among other rewards for participating in the beta, new and existing players get access to several exclusive tanks that come with some flashy paint jobs.

New and existing players subscribed to PlayStation Plus will get access to a very unique Premium vehicle: the exclusive German Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. J-PS (pictured above)! This tank comes adorned with one-of-a-kind darkened camouflage featuring a stylish “pinup girl” livery. The Pz.Kpfw. II J-PS reaps all the benefits of being a Premium vehicle, comes with its own Garage Slot, and includes an extra three days of Premium!

This free bonus for PlayStation Plus members can be found in the PlayStation Plus section of the PlayStation Store.

  • PS Plus offer will be available in the PlayStation Store beginning January 19
  • PS Plus bundle will be credited to your account upon next login to your Garage
  • PS Plus members will periodically have access to special offers and sales
