WWE 2K15‘s release date is quickly approaching, yet we still know very little about the franchise’s leap into the next generation of gaming. So far, we’re merely aware of its release date and that Sting will be its pre-order character. That’s it, as we haven’t even seen a single screenshot.
That is all going to change soon, though, as WWE.com has an article up stating tha, during August 16th’s SummerSlam weekend festivities, Stone Cold Steve Austin will host a panel detailing the game’s full roster.
WWE 2K15 Roster Reveal hosted by Stone Cold Steve Austin featuring John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Roman Reigns, Sheamus and Cesaro on Saturday, August 16 at 10 AM PT. In addition to speaking about their respective WWE careers, the panelists will reveal the official roster for 2K’s upcoming WWE 2K15 video game, which is available October 28. VIP Ticket holders will receive their photo opportunity with Roman Reigns for this SummerSlam Panel.
This isn’t too surprising, as the series’ roster has been revealed during SummerSlam weekend for the past few years now. There was, however, some speculation that the panel would not exist this year due to budget cuts, which have affected the funding of SummerSlam weekend events.
Nevertheless, on August 16th Stone Cold Steve Austin will open up a can of whoop-ass on the panel and tell us all who we can play as in WWE 2K15 come October 28th.
