Microsoft’s goal seems to be to have people think of its XBOX 360 as an entertainment hub first and video game console second. That is quite evident when you take a look at the new dashboard design, which was unveiled this morning. Set to go live this fall, it clumps similarly themed items into groups, allowing for easy navigation.

In addition to the new and overhauled dashboard look, the XBOX Live service is set to get some new voice command features, as well as Bing and Youtube support. The company’s intent is to increase partnerships tenfold this year.

There was no mention of a beta program for the new dashboard update, but it wouldn’t be surprising if an announcement comes soon. Take a look at it in our gallery.
