The 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo is scheduled to run from June 16th to 18th, and as always, Microsoft’s Xbox brand will be one of the most prominent players. What exactly the company will bring to the show is anyone’s guess, but some recent statements from a Microsoft employee give hope that they’ll impress us with what they’ve got in store.

In a recent interview with the Inner Circle podcast, Xbox marketing executive Aaron Greenberg said to not only expect “a lot of surprises,” but that the company will also be talking about a lot of upcoming games, which is encouraging for those who are more interested in promising software for the Xbox One rather than apps or peripherals.

Greenberg also noted that Microsoft is going to take a bit of a different approach to E3 this year. It remains to be seen what exactly he means by “different,” but hopefully they won’t disappoint. A lot of people weren’t terribly thrilled with their showing last year, so all eyes will be on the gaming giant to see what they can bring to the table this time around.
