Xbox Live Gold Members To Get Free Games Starting In July

Microsoft, while taking time at the start of their E3 press conference to discuss future plans for the Xbox 360, revealed that a new program will be starting in July for both new and existing members of Xbox Live Gold. The program, akin to PlayStation Plus, will involve two new games being released each month available to download for free. Assassin's Creed II and Halo 3 will kick off the program starting next month.

The program, akin to PlayStation Plus, will involve two new games being released each month that will be available to download for free. Assassin’s Creed II and Halo 3 will kick off the program starting on July 1st.

It is not perfectly clear at the moment if the program will extend to Xbox One, or what other games will become available but we will keep you updated as more news regarding the program is revealed. Stay tuned!
