This is the second time that director Ruben Fleischer has found himself in the news today. Earlier today we reported on Josh Brolin joining Fleischer’s next film Gangster Squad and now we bring you a red band trailer for Fleischer’s upcoming movie 30 Minutes Or Less. With a cast that includes Danny McBride, Jesse Eisenberg and Aziz Ansari, you can expect this to be one hell of a comedy.
McBride and Ansari are known to be comedic gold and I also find Eisenberg to be ‘low pro’ funny. He’s already worked with Fleischer on Zombieland (a great film), and I’m excited to see them teaming up again.
The trailer itself is nothing special but like I mentioned above, Zombieland was great and there’s some strong comedic talent at work here. I have a feeling the trailer is just holding back, so it doesn’t spoil all the good stuff. I really can’t see this one being a dud. I guess we’ll find out in August though when the film releases. In the action-comedy 30 Minutes or Less, Nick (Jesse Eisenberg) is a small town pizza delivery guy whose mundane life collides with the big plans of two wanna-be criminal masterminds (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson). The volatile duo kidnaps Nick and forces him to rob a bank. With mere hours to pull off the impossible task, Nick enlists the help of his ex-best friend, Chet (Aziz Ansari). As the clock ticks, the two must deal with the police, hired assassins, flamethrowers, and their own tumultuous relationship.
