8 Reasons Why Deadpool 2 Will Be Better Than Its Predecessor

Every time we think of Deadpool 2, we’re praying that it’s more Terminator 2 than Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. A sequel is tricky business – especially if the first film was sensational – and there’s always a chance that it might crumble under the weight of expectation.

When the news broke that Tim Miller had left directing duties after purported creative clashes with Ryan Reynolds, our hearts skipped a beat and we feared the worst for our beloved Wade Wilson. Had the curse of Fox’s superhero films struck Deadpool 2‘s production? So far, the answer seems to be a resounding no. In fact, the film is shaping up to be even better than the first one.

With less than a year to go until its release, everything we’ve seen of the Merc with the Mouth’s second solo outing looks incredible. From the casting to the tantalizing tidbits on social media, we’re struggling to find even one negative to complain about.
