Though not much is known just yet about what Joss Whedon has in store for us with his highly anticipated sequel, it is nice to see him bringing new blood on board. Not that the original cast was lacking, quite the contrary in fact, but some fresh young faces should serve to spice things up a bit.

That being said, as it was, fitting all of the original characters into The Avengers was a huge challenge, with some heroes like Hawkeye barely getting enough screen time to really play a worthwhile part in the story. How Whedon is going to juggle all of the existing heroes, plus these two news ones, is something that I’m curious to see.

Taylor-Johnson and Olsen are both excellent actors, with strong credits under their belts. Now that they’ve added a Marvel film to their resume, expect their already quick ascent up the Hollywood ladder of fame to speed up even more, and deservedly so.

I’m a big fan of both these young talents and have been ever since they broke out (Taylor-Johnson with Nowhere Boy and Olsen with Martha Marcy May Marlene). Hearing that they’re joining the Marvel universe has me very, very excited and I can’t wait to see how they’ll do in a big-budget blockbuster like this.

Tell us, are you pleased to see Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen joining Avengers: Age of Ultron? Let us know in the comments below.
