Today we bring the new one sheet teaser poster for the upcoming Tintin film: The Adventures of Tintin : The Secret of the Unicorn. The film is adaptation of Hergé’s comic book detective, a project spear headed by Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg. Spielberg is taking the reins on this film, it being his first foray into digital filmmaking, performance capture and 3D, while Jackson has taken a producing role and will direct the next film in the planned trilogy.
I like the one sheet we have here and it looks to be a very nostalgic recreation of the comic book. The tone is close, obviously, to Indiana Jones in the globetrotting sense of the character, as well a more period setting. The poster is given to us by Empire, who tomorrow promises us a look at a trailer, which should give us a clear look at what we can be expecting later in the year. The film will arrive in October for the UK and December for the US.
