It looks like new set images for The Amazing Spider-Man have surfaced on the internet, thanks to Just Jared. News has been pretty calm for Spider-Man as of late. The last batch of images that were released showcased the new costume and these latest photos focus more on Peter Parker, played by Andrew Garfield and Gwen Stacy, played by Emma Stone.
Garfield seems to have the Peter Parker look down while Emma Stone doesn’t have me convinced just yet that she can play Gwen Stacy. These are early photos and I think the main thing we must focus on is Peter Parker. We already know what Spider-Man looks like and it’s not hard to perfect him, but when it comes down to Peter Parker, there are many things that can go wrong. These pictures clearly show that Garfield LOOKS like Peter Parker, but can he act like him?
The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released on July 3rd, 2012 and it is being directed by Marc Webb. The film also features Martin Sheen, Denis Leary and Rhys Ifans.
