Angelina Jolie Is Ridley Scott’s Gertrude Bell

Angelina Jolie has been cast as Gertrude Bell is Ridley Scott’s biopic about the life of the Middle Eastern pioneering figure. The biopic titled Gertrude Bell is one of three films that Scott is thinking about directing next. The script is being penned by Jeffrey Caine and while it is currently without a studio, with Jolie and Scott at the helm I don’t think they’ll have trouble in that department.
This is the second project that Scott and Jolie have in development, the other being about the 1995 murder of Maurizio Gucci. Along with Jolie, Leonardo DiCaprio is also attached to the project.
If Gertrude Bell is Scott’s next, we will likely see it in cinemas in 2013 or 2014.
