The Avengers have assembled for a brand new poster in hopes of building anticipation for the film’s new trailer which is set to drop later this week. In addition to featuring more action shots, the trailer will also dive deeper into the plot of the film and offer up some new details on the story.
As for this poster, well despite some iffy Photoshop work (notice how Chris Evans is towering over everyone else), it still is rather exciting to see all our favorite heroes together in one shot.
Honestly, it’s hard to believe that the film is almost here. When it was first announced I definitely had my doubts and I remember thinking how epic it would be if Marvel could actually pull it off. But now, here we are, mere months away from the release.
While I do still suspect that there may be a couple minor flaws with the film, likely stemming from plot/storyline, I’m certain that The Avengers will not fail to entertain. And for a film like this, that’s all I’m really asking for.
The Avengers arrives in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D theaters on May 4th, 2012
