Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War Collectible Offers Up Best Look Yet At The Infinity Gauntlet

In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos will finally step out of the shadows and take on the combined forces of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. After various teaser appearances and cameos dating all the way back to 2012's The Avengers, there's a lot of hype for the Mad Titan and he's all set to be the biggest, baddest enemy the heroes of the Marvel universe have ever faced. We're sure that the titular team will ultimately be able to take him down, but they're certainly going to have a tough time doing so.

In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos will finally step out of the shadows and take on the combined forces of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. After various teaser appearances and cameos dating all the way back to 2012’s The Avengers, there’s a lot of hype for the Mad Titan and he’s all set to be the biggest, baddest enemy the heroes of the Marvel universe have ever faced. We’re sure that the titular team will ultimately be able to take him down, but they’re certainly going to have a tough time doing so.

Not only will Thanos have the Black Order there to help him, but he’ll also be in possession of the incredibly powerful Infinity Gauntlet, which we presume will be fully equipped by the time the film rolls around. We’ve already caught a few glimpses of the weapon in the two trailers that’ve been released thus far, but fans are certainly curious to see more of it and now, we’ve got our best look yet, thanks to a gorgeous new collectible.

Seen in the gallery below, this awesome piece of merchandise, which is over 19 inches, will set you back $150 and unfortunately, is already sold out. Still, these photos do give us a great overview of the Infinity Gauntlet’s design, with some detailed markings on the front and sides and those shiny stones giving off a nice glow.

Though not terribly revealing, this collectible is still another welcome look at what’s sure to be a very important part of Avengers: Infinity War. After all, like we said above, Thanos has been on the hunt for those Infinity Stones for years now, so you can bet that once he gets his hands on all of them, he’ll begin to wreak havoc on a scale that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have never seen.

Thankfully, they too will have some nifty weapons to bring to the fight. Be it Iron Man’s Model-Prime armor, Cap’s dual shields, or even the fearsome Jarnbjorn, Thor’s new Dwarven-forged battle ax that looks set to take the place of Mjolnir, the titular gang will be well equipped when they face-off against the Mad Titan. Whether that’ll be enough to bring him down or not remains to be seen, but all will be revealed quite soon, as Avengers: Infinity War blasts into theaters on May 4th.
