Avengers: Infinity War Trailer To Debut On December 3rd?

Even though those lucky enough to attend San Diego Comic-Con back in July got to watch a special presentation of the movie, the rest of the world has yet to see an official trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. After months of waiting, though, it's expected that the first teaser will arrive very soon. And thanks to directors the Russo brothers, we might now know exactly when.

Even though those lucky enough to attend San Diego Comic-Con back in July got to watch a special presentation of the movie, the rest of the world has yet to see an official trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. Earlier today, Joe and Anthony Russo posted a peculiar image on their Instagram account: an anthropomorphic number three. Maybe the brothers were just feeling a bit eccentric this morning, but it’s likely that this is a deliberate tease about when we can expect the first Infinity War trailer.

So, what 3 is the image referring to, then? Well, it could be 3 more days until that first bit of footage arrives, but there’s another possibility as well. Some fans believe that the 3 is referencing December 3rd.

After all, there have been rumours for a while now that the Infinity War trailer would be landing next month, with initial expectations suggesting it would align with the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on the 15th. However, one source has claimed that it’ll drop towards the beginning of the month instead. According to them, December 4th. Given that, it’s likely this prediction was off by one day and Marvel has decided to give us an early Christmas present on December 3rd.

However, if you think that’s still too long to wait, then we do have a few images that might whet your appetite. Vanity Fair has just gathered together a whopping 35 members of the Infinity War cast for a photoshoot. Plus, if you want to see some of the characters in action – including a bearded Steve Rogers and a blonde Black Widow – a leaked image dropped yesterday. Some actual clips also made their way online, too, but those have since been removed by Marvel.

Anyways, we’re not sure what this new tease from the Russos means, but let’s tentatively expect the Avengers: Infinity War trailer to drop on December 3rd. After all, that’ll be almost 6 months to the day before the movie opens in theaters, as it’ll debut on May 4th, 2018.
