Six new hi-res photos from Marc Webb‘s The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, have been released.
Judging from these images, Webb is clearly focused on a more “teenage” adaption of Spider-Man than we’ve ever seen before. I mean, we only have one actual picture of Spidey –  and it looks like Gwen Stacy might be getting a bigger role than Mary Jane ever did. I’m definitely interested in Peter and Gwen’s relationship, and I can’t wait to see it play out on screen, but where is the action going to come from? I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer for photos of Rhys Ifans as Lizard.
Like most fans, I was pretty annoyed Spider-Man was getting a reboot so soon, but I’ve slowly been warming to the idea, especially because of the cast. These pictures have almost sold it for me, considering I’m already in love with Stone’s Gwen Stacy and Garfield looks like he should have been Spider-Man from the beginning.
