Things are really starting to heat up now at San Diego Comic-Con, with some big imminent announcements and reveals on the horizon. Dwayne Johnson is teasing his DC movie role as Marvel releases concept art and posters for films like Ant-Man and Avengers: Age Of Ultron… and we’re only two days in!
We knew that Ben Affleck’s new cape and cowl were on display at SDCC, but were pleasantly surprised by this new photo of him in costume. The image comes courtesy of DC Comics in celebration of the Caped Crusader’s 75th birthday, which was yesterday. At the DC Entertainment booth, there is a Batman 75th Anniversary montage wall, with several new and old images on display.
The photo in question is brand new, and provides our best look at Affleck in the cape and cowl yet. The picture was taken by photographer Clay Enos, who mentioned on Twitter a few weeks ago that he had conducted a “legendary” photo shoot for the film. Now that Batman’s been revealed, my guess is we’ll see Superman next, followed by the first image of Wonder Woman in anticipation for Warner Brothers’ big DC panel in Hall H on Saturday.
What do you think of the new image? Check it out below, and leave us your thoughts in the comments section.
