Ben Affleck Confirms J.K. Simmons For Solo Batman Film, Talks Justice League Suit

It was only a few weeks ago that Zack Snyder dropped a bombshell on us when he finally revealed the tactical suit that Batman will be donning in Justice League. The general reaction to it seems to be positive, and it already has fans speculating as to how it may be used against Deathstroke, who's been confirmed for the solo Bats movie and will likely appear before that as well.

It was only a few weeks ago that Zack Snyder dropped a bombshell on us when he finally revealed the tactical suit that Batman will be donning in Justice League. The general reaction to it seems to be positive, and it already has fans speculating as to how it may be used against Deathstroke, who’s been confirmed for the solo Bats movie and will likely appear before that as well.

It seems that fans aren’t the only ones who are digging the new suit, either, as Ben Affleck recently spoke to Extra and said the following about it:

“There’s two suits in Justice League,” the actor says. “One is the one that we’ve seen before, and then one that he augments because of the nature of the mission, which I can’t give away. But it was a chance for them to play with the suit and add elements to it and kind of tech it out, and I thought they did a really good job. It was really fun.”

Aside from speaking about the suit, Big Ben also confirmed something that we all already suspected, that J.K. Simmons will be appearing in the solo Batman movie as Commissioner Gordon. He wouldn’t say anything more than that, but with the film apparently only a year and a half away now, we’re fairly certain that information about it will start spilling out pretty soon.

As for Justice League, well, so far we can say that we’re hopeful. Batman V Superman may have been divisive, to say the least, but we’re liking what we’re seeing from Zack Snyder’s follow-up. Of course, only time will tell if it turns out to be any better than the director’s last outing, but right now we’re feeling cautiously optimistic and hope that it finally gives the DCEU the win that they so desperately need.

Tell us, what are your thoughts on Justice League so far? Are you liking how it’s shaping up? Sound off below with your comments and let us know.
