Ben Affleck Doesn’t Want To Be Asked About The Batman Again

No one ever said being an actor was easy. Sure, the fame and fortune is certainly a perk, but you also have to deal with fans and insurmountable hype surrounding the projects you work on. Someone who knows this all too well is Ben Affleck. After having gone through a tremendous amount of scrutiny when he was first cast as the Dark Knight, not to mention having to deal with all the negative press that surrounded Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, it's easy to see why he's becoming a bit annoyed with having to talk about the iconic hero.

Now, as he’s gearing up to direct The Batman, the commotion and craziness has begun again, as everyone and their grandmother is trying to get him to spill details on the highly anticipated film. It seems that the actor’s finally had enough of it though, as he told Entertainment Tonight that it’s becoming a real pain in the ass.

You can hear his comments in the video above, but it certainly seems like he’s pretty fed up. As such, we’d caution any journalists from mentioning the film if you find yourself encountering Big Ben in the near future.

On the one hand, like we said above, you can’t really blame Affleck for getting angry about constantly being peppered with questions relating to The Batman nearly every time he shows his face in public. It’s understandably annoying, especially when he can’t really talk that much about it. The hype and fervor surrounding the film is also off the charts right now and everyone’s itching for even the smallest morsel of information about the upcoming flick.

However, being an actor, it’s part of your job to deal with this type of stuff and it’s unfortunately one of the downsides that comes with fame and fortune. Not to mention that Affleck has signed on to play one of the most iconic characters of all-time, in any medium, so there will undoubtedly be a great deal of craziness and interest surrounding his work for years to come. Again though, The Batman is a special case and not many actors have to put up with what Ben’s going through right now. At least, not to the same extent.

Tell us, do you think Affleck’s being unreasonable here, or do you agree with him that it’s getting to be too much? Sound off down below and let us know!
