Avengers: Infinity War isn’t the only Marvel project currently making its formative steps into production – Black Panther, Ryan Coogler’s standalone pic set for release in 2018, is now filming in Atlanta, and the first wave of set photos have already showcased Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o and Martin Freeman, with the latter expected to reprise his Civil War role as Everett Ross.

That talented trio is part of Black Panther‘s all-star ensemble cast, with Sterling K. Brown being the most recent addition to Marvel’s enviable lineup. And so, with filming now officially underway, the studio’s co-president Louis D’Esposito has taken to Twitter to share a new, behind-the-scenes pic from the Atlanta set, which confirms that the Powers That Be have tweaked the movie’s logo ever so slightly in anticipation of its launch in 2018. Have a gander at the image up above.

From one social platform to another, Michael B. Jordan – who’s set to reunite with Coogler following Fruitvale Station and Rocky spinoff Creedtook to Instagram to flaunt his ripped physique. He’s set to play the villainous Killmonger in Black Panther, and will no doubt give Boseman’s T’Challa a run for his money.

Directed by Ryan Coogler from a script he penned alongside Joe Robert Cole, Black Panther has been slated for February 16, 2018, when Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba will round out the stellar casting docket. Avengers: Infinity War, meanwhile, is on course to hit theaters in May of 2018, and the movie’s year-long production timeline will also encompass its as-yet-untitled sequel, which is currently pegged for 2019.
