Really, every time we get treated to some new footage from director Ryan Coogler’s latest offering, it seems like I have one more reason to show up on opening weekend. And, apparently, I’m not alone in thinking that way because Black Panther just so happened to be recently named the most anticipated solo superhero flick to be released this year. With so much on the docket for 2018, it’s hard to say which I’m looking forward to most myself, but this one is most assuredly near the top of the list – and it certainly helps that it’s beating all others to the punch.

So, while we wait for another full trailer to drop on January 8, we at least have a little appetizer of sorts in the form of the “Show Them” promo to help tide us over. Freshly circulated online and likely to soon begin playing on TV during commercial breaks, this quick teaser bombards us with the various selling points that we listed above, no doubt providing audiences with more incentive.

Additionally, a couple more goodies have been tacked on in the video package, so be sure to stick around for a featurette that explores the King of Wakanda’s origins and an international trailer if you feel you need a bit of a primer on the character.

Black Panther opens in theaters on February 16.
