Rounding the final corner before the threequel’s much-anticipated arrival in May, Marvel will soon be firing on all cylinders when it comes to promos, images, TV spots and posters for Captain America: Civil War – and Chris Evans himself has nailed down an ETA for the film’s new clip.
According to MTV, Marvel’s stoic First Avenger will be in attendance at the upcoming MTV Movie Awards with a Civil War snippet in tow. Look for that to drop on Sunday, April 10, with the outlet teasing “never-before-seen” footage.

Remaining in the bustling Civil War camp and there’s also a pair of new images for Joe and Anthony Russo’s superhero actioner, with the first finding Sebastian Stan’s volatile Bucky Barnes in captivity. Judging by recent trailers, though, don’t expect that spell behind bars to stretch for too long.
And finally, while he’s not a part of the Russo brothers’ broad ensemble, Tom Hiddleston has weighed in on the upcoming superhero rift between Team Iron Man and Team Cap, telling Yahoo that Asgard’s God of Mischief is in a league of his own.
“He’s clearly on Team Loki,” Hiddleston said with a laugh. “They were all fairly unkind to him in The Avengers, so I’m not sure he would be taking sides. I think he would be sitting on a rooftop somewhere enjoying the fact that the children are squabbling. Going, ‘Ah! This is entertaining.’”
Joining Evans for Marvel’s tentpole are Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Tom Holland as Spider-Man and Don Cheadle as Colonel Rhodes/War Machine – but is the threequel Rhodey’s final appearance in the MCU?
